The Pearson’s Family Photos at Coronation Park in Red Deer

Growing Family

Bridge Over Waskasoo Creek

This park is Red Deer’s most popular outdoor wedding location. The park was established in 1937 for King George VI Coronation and has lots of greenery, mature trees and a variety of different settings to photograph in. On this spring day, I met the Pearson family at this park so that their 17 month old son would have space to run and play.

Mom told me that their family hadn’t had the chance to do family pictures in Red Deer yet, so this was a great opportunity to do some, especially now that a new baby was here! This now family of 4 was a bundle of energy. Mom and dad didn’t even look tired from their newest addition! Big brother had fun playing on the rocks and looking into the water below for fish!

I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to photograph the Pearson family and I look forward to capturing more of their memories in the future.
