We meet with Justine, Time and little Logan at the Angel’s Cappuccino and Ice Cream shop on the north side of the Bow River Pathway. Crossing the bridge takes you over the the Edworthy Park Picnic Area where they have all these beautiful rows of trees. Justine brought along a water proof picnic blanket and we brought a rustic brown blanket for the family to sit on. Nestled under the sweeping branched of the Edworthy evergreens we went to work photographing Logan and his parents.

With a few days to go before Christmas we met with the Pointon Family at Pearce Estate Park. Calgary has had such warm weather this winter we were beginning to wonder if we would have a white Christmas. Just days before their session the whole city was covered in a soft blanket of white snow, perfect for their session and for their ski trip at Lake Louise that they were heading out to after their photos.
My son had his pre-schools Christmas party today and I was lucky enough to photograph all the kids enjoying the party put on by Mrs. Nixon and her helpers. They even arranged a special visit from Santa Clause himself.
With Christmas on the horizon we met the Ng’s for their first family session with little Mason. Calgary has been having some incredibly warm weather this winter and this day was no exception. We met Jillian, Raymond, baby Mason and both their parents at Pearce Estate Park. The sun was shining brightly through the reeds, making a beautiful warm backdrop for their photos.

We met Dominique, Denny, and their daughter Selena at Tom Campbell’s Natural Park. This beautiful dog park sits on top of a hill in Bridgeland and features a stunning look out onto Calgary’s downtown. The Poulin family were blessed with some beautiful golden light as they strolled atop the hill and Selena played in the warm December weather.
