A Warm and Festive Christmas Mini Session
Christmas Mini Sessions at Event Core
We shot our Christmas Mini for the Scholten family in our new Event Core space in South East Calgary. Event Core is a community of event vendors in Calgary that have come together to create a quality pool of resources for all of your event needs. We shoot our larger portrait sessions out of their beautiful studio space. This gives us the room and flexibility to create the best products possible.
We began the Mini Session with Jamie, Rosalin, and their adorable daughter Arianna in our Enchanted Forest set. This set-up features a beautiful snowy backdrop accompanied by festive white and green trees. We got some great shots of the Scholten family together on a cozy white blanket, all dressed in red and black holiday outfits. Baby Arianna was great fun to photograph. She had a bright smile and remained happy and bubbly for the entire session. Her beautiful big blue eyes really stood out in the photos! We shot every combination of the family: mom and daughter, father and daughter, and the entire family together. We then swapped out to the rustic fireplace setting, which features a cozy fireplace backdrop, assorted Christmas baubles, and a festive wreath.
After we wrapped up the Scholten Christmas Minis we had a little bit of time left. We used the opportunity to grab some holiday shots of our studio owner Jeremy, his wife Jenna, and their adorable son Rhys.
