Grandparents Arrive From South Africa For a Special Visit
Extended Family Love
I know first hand what it’s like to live apart from my parents. Mine are only a few province’s away but for the Staenz family, grandma and grandpa live further, in South Africa. During this photo session, I had the privilege of photographing little Luca with his grandparents, capturing some new photos (posed and candid’s) together that they could display on their walls, remembering this short visit where they rekindled old memories, and made some new ones. It’s important for grandparents to be part of the lives of their tiny grandkids – passing down traditions, embracing their one of a kind spirits, and of course, filling them up with candy and then handing them back to mom & dad!!! “What happens with grandma & grandpa, stays with grandma & grandpa!”
I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to photograph the Staenz family and I look forward to capturing more of their memories in the future.
