Family Mini Sessions with JM Photography
Welcome to our complete overview of the differences between our mini, medium and full sessions. While there are some rather obvious differences between the three sessions there are a lot of subtle ones too, that are dependant on what type of session you are booking. So instead of writing a small novel via email we have created this page to cover all those details.
Full Sessions: Why people choose Full Sessions over a Mini or Medium
Many of our families choose our full sessions as they get to construct their own photo session with our portrait photographer. If you consider yourself a DIY and creative individual a full session would be the perfect fit. Full sessions also allow larger groups to get together as there is sufficient time to capture many combinations and organize the whole group. Our Full sessions come with all the photos that turn out which is usually 30 to 50 photos. All of our sessions have the option to be paired with albums or prints added a la carte.
Medium Sessions: Why people love our Medium Sessions
Our Medium sessions are perfect for families that are looking for a quick session with a few more images than our Mini Sessions. These quick 30 minute sessions turn out 20 images instead of the 10 images you get from our mini sessions, so that way you have a few more images to work with. To book either of these sessions all you have to do is select a date and time and we can take you to some amazing locations within the City limits of Calgary. If you would still like a Medium session but want to get out of the city a travel fee will apply.
Mini Sessions: Perfect for a couple quick pics
Our Mini sessions are perfect for families that are looking for a couple quick professional photos to add to their home. These quick 15 minute sessions turn out 10 images or we can focus on getting that one specific photo you are looking for. Once we select a date and time, we can take you to some amazing locations within the City limits of Calgary. Travel outside Calgary is not available for these sessions.
What is the Difference Between a Basic Edit and a Premium Edited Photo?
Images receiving a basic level of editing will be corrected for white balance, colour tone, lighting and exposure. Premium edits add our studios image stylization to the photos that we are known for. Basic edits come with our Mini Sessions where Premium edits come with our Medium and Full Sessions.
How many photos do I get and how do you provide the digital images?
Each of our sessions are all inclusive and come with the high resolution digital files that are edited and proofed. The digital files are provided to you in an online gallery from which they can be downloaded or via an online download link. The downloaded files will be high resolution JPEGs that will be approximately 3200×2000 pixels at 250dpi.
