At the end of December the Boparai families youngest son Harfateh will be celebrating his first birthday. To commemorate the event his parents Gagan and Manveer scheduled a cake smash at our studio. They came in with their two older children and Manveer’s close friend for a family photo and then to watch Harfateh have a smashing good time with his cake.
With a few days to go before Christmas we met with the Pointon Family at Pearce Estate Park. Calgary has had such warm weather this winter we were beginning to wonder if we would have a white Christmas. Just days before their session the whole city was covered in a soft blanket of white snow, perfect for their session and for their ski trip at Lake Louise that they were heading out to after their photos.

My son had his pre-schools Christmas party today and I was lucky enough to photograph all the kids enjoying the party put on by Mrs. Nixon and her helpers. They even arranged a special visit from Santa Clause himself.

With Christmas on the horizon we met the Ng’s for their first family session with little Mason. Calgary has been having some incredibly warm weather this winter and this day was no exception. We met Jillian, Raymond, baby Mason and both their parents at Pearce Estate Park. The sun was shining brightly through the reeds, making a beautiful warm backdrop for their photos.
We are always excited when Mommy Connections (http://www.mommyconnections.ca/calgary) has a new mom and baby class because this means we get the opportunity to photograph the new mom’s with their little ones. This time we visited one class that started in November which are put on by Katherine Dolan the Director of Mommy Connections Calgary and her team.
